Lets talk about why you should come to visit Tenerife...One of the main reasons you should come is for it's spectacular beaches and due to the climate you are able to enjoy them all year round!
Here is some information about the different beaches on the island in order of distance from the hotel. The most popular beaches can be found in the south close to the hotel. The beaches are suitable for all ages, ranging from rocky beaches to sandy beaches and calm waters to waters great for windsurfing, places to sunbath and those where you can play volleyball.
Playa de Los Cristianos
Within walking distance from the hotel about 15mins, a free minibus service is also provided during the day. Offers fishing excursions, glass bottom boat trips and many restaurants and pubs.
Playa de Las Vistas
A larger beach in Los Cristianos where there are watersports. It is a beautiful white/yellow sandy beach.
Playa de Troya I-II
These beaches form part of Las Americas where you can subathe, do watersports or go to one of the many cafes. The beach is about a 10 minute drive away.
Playa de Las Americas
Right beside Los Cristianos, lots of small grey sandy beaches. It is further on round the corner from Playa de las Vistas.
Fañabe and Torviscas
Two beaches connected by a long promenade.Located along the coast of Costa Adeje with calm waters so great for families. This beach is about 10min drive from the hotel.
Playa del Duque
An upmarket beach found at the very western part of Las Americas. This is about 10min drive from the hotel.
Leocadio Machado
This beach is at the other side of the south airport and it takes about 20 minutes in the car.
El Medano
The longest natural sandy beach in Tenerife. Used by families, windsurfers and naturists. This beach is found on the other side of the airport so is about a 20min drive away.
Playa de Tejita
Montaña roja end is popular with nudists, well known for being a windy beach-in september there is a kite festival. This beach is about 20min drive from the hotel.
Los Gigantes
A beach close to the cliffs of los Gigantes situated in the southwest. It is over 30min drive from the hotel.
Playa San Juan
Quiet style sandy beach which is also good for snorkelling. This beach is about 30min drive from the hotel.
Candelaria
A small black shingle beach found on the eastern side of Tenerife which is about a 40min drive from the hotel.
Playa de La Arena
A pebbly black sandy beach with rock pools and coves-mirador de la monja and Teno cliffs. It is about a 40min drive from the hotel.
Roque Bermejo
This beach is at the other end of the island so it would take 1hr 25mins to get there and then access is a 2 hour hike or you can take a boat which leaves from Los Cristianos and takes you there. It is a great opportunity to see sea life.
Playa de Las Teresitas
A beautiful coastline filled with tropical fish. This beach is found in Santa Cruz which is about 50mins drive.
Playa Jardin
European blue flag beach. Divided in 3 parts by rocks-the beach at the end is best for walking and swimming also there is a cascade which is great for kids. Can be found in Puerto de la Cruz which is over an hours drive away.
Lago Martianez
A public complex of 4 pools for adults and 3 for children all in a canarian design. Adults 3€ children 1.50€. This is found in Puerta de la Cruz which is an hours drive away.
Playa Grande
Punta de Abona-another beautiful beach which can be found near Puerta de la Cruz so is over an hours drive away.
El Socorro
A black volcanic sandy beach, used by surfers. This beach is about an hours drive away.
Playa San Telmo
A urban volcanic sandy beach with moderate waves that is over an hours drive away.
