Finalists of the Canarian Cooks Championship

We already know the name of the ten professionals who participate in the annual Canarian Chefs' Championship Tenerife 2010, to be held between 19 and 21 April.
Those selected are: Emilio Cabrera, a native of Lanzarote, Thomas Leeb, Gran Canaria, Juan Carlos Rodríguez, La Palma, and Isaac Gonzalez, Miguel Navarro, Henry Montes, Hans Joachim, Patricia García, Ignacio Hernández and Romen Daniel de Leon, Tenerife.
Selected chefs will prepare a compulsory dish whose main ingredient is in this issue fresh rabbit, one of the most used meats in the traditional Canarian cuisine, and a free choice, which may not be a dessert.
As for the awards, the organization has established a prize of 1,500 euros for the winning chef while the second and third place will receive 1,000 and 600 euros respectively. Also expected to award a prize for the best kitchen helper or assistant, worth 500 euros.
