Producers of "Lost" invited to Tenerife

The producers and writers of the show "Lost" (Perdidos), one of the award-winning productions on worldwide television, have been invited to Tenerife, in order for them to know the islands possibilities as a place to shoot. In the last chapter of the sixth season of the series watched in the U.S. ("eternity"), Tenerife became indirect part of the plot as the birthplace of one of the main characters, Richard Alpert, who in the series appears as a native of El Socorro (Tenerife), where fiction takes place in great part of the chapter.

This is a great promotional opportunity for the island as Tenerife is mentioned in a series of global television. In addition, it has a crowd of more than 10.5 million viewers only in United States.
"Lost" is broadcast in Spain on Cuatro and is produced by ABC Studios, Bad Robot Productions. The series follows the ups and downs of a group of people who survive a plane crash, on an island in the Pacific. Filmed in the Hawaiian islands, "Lost" has won numerous awards, among which is a Golden Globe and several Emmys.
