Alejandro Fernández in concert

Alejandro Fernández will perform next July 31st at the Estadio Municipal de Los Cristianos Arona, Tenerife.

Fernandez will be presented with a total of 40 tons of equipment, more than 120 lights, four choirs, ten musicians and mariachi band members on stage. The album 'Dos Mundos' consists of two albums: 'Evolución', which went Platinum in Spain, and 'Tradición', which won the Golden Disc.

With over 17 million albums sold, the Mexican artist has conquered international markets with collaborations, most notably with Nelly Furtado, Beyonce, Gloria Estefan, Placido Domingo, Jose Carreras, Julio Iglesias and Miguel Bosé.

Simply Red in concert this July

The British band Simply Red will perform on July 20th in the South of Tenerife in their "Farewell Tour". It'll be the only concert in Spain of the 62 planned worldwide.

Simply Red is a historical formation in the pop world, with 25 years of an excellent career, where they have sold over 55 million albums, and achieved 31 number one in the charts in the UK as well as numerous prestigious awards throughout their amazing career. The "Farewell Tour" includes 62 concerts around the world.

Tickets will cost between 40 and 150 euros.

Fans film "Clash of the Titans" in Tenerife

A score of fans around the world film in Tenerife scenes of "Clash of the Titans"

The island has returned to scene of shooting scenes from the movie "Clash of the Titans" in this case, by a score of fans around the world. These are the winning contestants of a promotion by Tourism of Tenerife and Warner Bros Pictures.

The 20 winners were in the Island last weekend, a period when they had the opportunity to climb Mount Teide National Park to record some of the scenes of the film in the same places where they filmed the blockbuster Hollywood during the year past. The contestants were advised at all times by a professional filmmaker, in addition to the help of a dozen extras who were characterized with the same costumes in the film.
