Tenerife Carnival, From 17/02/12 to 26/02/12 @ Santa Cruz de Tenerife

From Friday 17/02/12 to Sunday 26/02/12, the celebrations of Carnival will take place in Santa Cruz de Tenerife.

Santa Cruz de Tenerife's carnival is considered the second most popular and internationally known after those held in Rio de Janeiro (Brazil). In fact the city of Santa Cruz de Tenerife is twinned with the city of Rio de Janeiro for this reason.

Thousands of people take to the streets every year for over a week in the Carnival of Santa Cruz de Tenerife, which was declared a Celebration of International Tourist Interest since 1980.

Carnival has two distinct parts, the 'official' carnival and the carnival in the street. The 'official' carnival has over 100 groups with an average of 50 components each: street musicians, parades, group costumes, street musicians and musical groups. The street carnival comes to be the participation of citizens in their own party.

Thousands of people come every day to the streets to participate in a costume and enjoy the streets every night for over a week.

Continental Cup 2011, From 30/09/11 to 02/10/11 @ Playa Fañabe (Costa Adeje)

On September 30th , 1st and 2nd of October 2011, the Continental Cup comes to the Canarian Island of Tenerife. It will be held in Playa Fañabe - Costa Adeje. This competition is conducted in a similar format to the Davis Cup and has the participation of the best European players of Beach Volleyball. This sport is back to Tenerife with a top-level sports tournament, that also has many social events and a parallel and unprecedented media coverage together with promotion outside of the Canary Islands.

The Continental Cup will be held in the Canary Islands in the pleasant environment of Playa Fanabe in Costa Adeje, as the good weather in Tenerife allows the holding of sports events like this throughout the year.

The stadium will have a Village, VIP area where the VIP Boxes will be located (never before seen in an event of this type) and courts next to the stadium for the fans to practice and also holding clinics for children.

Together with the sporting event will be held the traditional events such as the Gala Dinner or Cocktail Reception, as well as the Presentation Party and the Beach Parties that will take place every day after the tournament games end at Sand & Sea Beach Club in Playa Fañabe.

Ballets de Tenerife, 02/10/11 @ Magma Art & Congresses

Magma Art & Congresses presents on October 2nd the company "Ballets de Tenerife" for the first time in their facilities. The evening will start with Arcanos. Then, like a Broadway musical, Gershwin's swing will be represented.

Finally, one of the characteristic works of the company will be presented on stage, Amor Brujo, by Manuel Falla, where the viewer will be drawn to a gypsy cave and will share a tragic story.

Ritmos del Mundo 3.0 festival @ Siam Park, Tenerife.

Siam Park, one of the most spectacular places in the world to perform open-air events, will host the 3rd edition of "Ritmos del Mundo". This third edition of "Ritmos del Mundo" will offer nine hours of non-stop music in broad daylight, from 3pm until midnight, with more than 150 waiters and waitresses who will attend the three distinct areas: a VIP area with open bar, another general space, and the area of ​​private houses "VIP Plus" which will have exclusive toilets, direct and independent access, resting area, and so on.
