Hotel Paradise Park, A Doorway To Tenerife Excursions There is so much to see and experience in Tenerife and Hotel Paradise Park is perfectly placed for you to get out and explore. Many of the most
popular excursions pick just outside our hotel and the other free buses stop just a few minutes walk down the road. Here are a few suggestions for excursions to please you and your family.
SIAM PARK Also known as The Water Kingdom, it’s the biggest and best in Europe and packed with thrilling rides from the extreme rush of water sliding down the Tower of Power to taking a gentle float around the Lazy River on a large rubber ring. The Thai themed shops and pagodas add to the oriental feel and they even have their own imported sand beach complete with a wave machine .
SUBMARINE SAFARIS Submerge in comfort in and around the waters of San Miguel marina and see exotic fish including Barracuda, Parrot Fish, and large majestic Rays. The coast is rugged, the sea life plentiful, and the wide viewing port holes give you a front row view as your guides identify the varied species that swarm up close.
CAMEL PARK Families will enjoy the unspoilt setting of the animal farm with its geese, ducks, goats, and parrots. A 50 minute camel ride shows off the rugged charms of La Camella and the Arona coast below. Friendly, informal, and full of charm.
MONKEY PARK Great for a close encounter with nature, you can feed the gorillas and large apes from a safe distance and the smaller chimps love to show their cheeky characters. The walk through enclosures are always popular as the Ring Tailed Lemur eat out of your hands and scamper over you. There is no bus as the park is a short distance away – a taxi will cost you less than five euros.
LORO PARK Well worth the trip up north to Puerto de la Cruz to see a fabulous collection of exotic animals and four great shows featuring parrots, sea lions, killer whales, and dolphins. Planet Penguin and Katandra Treetops are just two of the specialist areas in this well laid out park that will take a full day to appreciate.
You can get more details and advice and book your trips at our excursion shop in the entrance area of Hotel Paradise Park. If you are hiring a car (also available via the Hotel excursion shop or reception) you may like to check out these lesser known attractions near the historic north west town of Icod de los Vinos.
ARTLANDYA This museum houses over 600 charming dolls and teddy bears from around the world. Set on a lovingly restored farm with stunning views over the coast of Garachico it’s a relaxing and enjoyable way to see a piece of old Tenerife.
CUEVA DEL VIENTO One of the longest volcanic tubes in the world. Guides will explain the volcanic history of Tenerife, kit you out in helmet and lamp and drive you to the remote cave entrance. The passages are high enough to walk along but the rock formations carved by lava are a direct link to the birth of Tenerife.
